Sue Ryder, a British charity activist leading a wide-ranging charity work around the world. She founded the International Foundation in honor of the victims of World War II. As Lady Ryder of Warsaw sat in the British House of Lords. She was a great friend of Poland and Polish people. In Poland, she founded in 30 localities nursing homes, hospitals and hospices.
